In order to present the final version of the strategy to the University Governing Council, the R&D Committee and the Human Resources and Economics Committee have been informed. Both committees acknowledged the relevance of the work done and the implications on the near future for researcher careers at UPV. Representatives from the different UPV Trade Unions were also summoned to a meeting to present the final results of the process. The UPV Rector signs the Charter and Code Endorsement Letter
Today, Francisco Mora, the Rector of Universitat Politècnica de València, has signed the Charter and Code Endorsement Letter. From now on UPV has 12 months to conclude its HRS4R process. The letter represents the pinnacle point on a process that started more than 2 years ago and that will engage UPV on a new development on its human resources policies for researchers. The Universitat Politècnica de València is embarked on the adoption of the Charter and the European Code of Researcher through the implementation of a new human resources strategy for research. The definition of this strategy has required to highlight the main needs of researchers and researchers of the University and, based on them, define a series of improvement actions that we believe are key to the sustainability of the research activity. During this workshop, topics such as professional research career, work environment, recruitment and selection conditions or ethical aspects around the profession will be discussed. UPV participates in a dedicated workshop about HRS4R by Euraxess
The 2nd of October 2018, Euraxess organised a dedicated workshop about the HRS4R process in Vienna. Representatives from research centres all around Europe participated and exchanged their views about how to implement the HRS4R process.
