Free Training Course on SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION Calls Milestones Training by paandruc - 18 January, 202327 January, 20230 Among the activities that the UPV is carrying out in the framework of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R, https://hrs4r.blogs.upv.es/) the development of training courses in areas of interest to the research community is included. On February 1, 2023, the ONLINE COURSE: SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION will start. Course of 15 hours of duration, aimed at the entire research community of the UPV from its postdoctoral stage, as well at technicians of R+D+i management. This course aims to present to researchers the main fundamentals and skills for quality scientific production and communication to achieve the standards required by the scientific community and the maximum dissemination of new knowledge generated in their research lines. I UPV Research Awards Events Milestones by paandruc - 11 November, 202211 November, 20220 The UPV recognizes its most outstanding staff in the I edition of the Research Awards The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has awarded 20 prizes to different researchers belonging to the academic institution itself, in the framework of the I edition of the UPV Research Awards. The awards gala took place in the Nexus building of the Vera campus, with the presence of the rector of the UPV, José E. Capilla, and the president of the Social Council, Monica Bragado, among other authorities and representatives of the UPV. These awards are also part of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), recognized by the "Seal of Excellence in Human Resources in Research". UPV at la Nit Mediterrànea de les Investigadores Events Milestones by paandruc - 2 October, 20222 October, 20220 (European Researchers’ Night) On Friday, September 30, the city of Valencia joined others in the Mediterranean arc such as Orihuela, Torrevieja, Alicante, Castellón, Messina, Lesbos, Nicosia and Istanbul to celebrate the Nit Mediterrània de les Investigadores, a great science outreach event associated with the European Researchers’ Night. Throughout the day, research staff from the entities that organize this activity offered the attendees, primary and secondary school students in the morning and the general public in the afternoon, workshops and talks to bring science closer to Valencian society, within the framework of the Museum of Sciences of the Turia capital. The Conference seeks to promote responsible research in the university community, in line with the principles of RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation): scientific education, gender equality, open access, governance, ethics and citizen participation.
