UPV at la Nit Mediterrànea de les Investigadores

(European Researchers’ Night)

On Friday, September 30, the city of Valencia joined others in the Mediterranean arc such as Orihuela, Torrevieja, Alicante, Castellón, Messina, Lesbos, Nicosia and Istanbul to celebrate the Nit Mediterrània de les Investigadores, a great science outreach event associated with the European Researchers’ Night.

Throughout the day, research staff from the entities that organize this activity offered the attendees, primary and secondary school students in the morning and the general public in the afternoon, workshops and talks to bring science closer to Valencian society, within the framework of the Museum of Sciences of the Turia capital.

In Valencia, the activities are organized by the European projects Mednight and Mednight GTS, formed by the CSIC in the Valencian Community; the INCLIVA Health Research Institute; the Foundation for the Promotion of Health and Biomedical Research of the Valencian Community (Fisabio); the University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The Museu de les Ciències, Oceanogràfic and Esciencia Scientific Events and in collaboration with CaixaForum Valencia (belonging to the “la Caixa” Foundation)
